Bennett Law L.C. was founded with with the commitment of helping rural West Virginia. All too often those in rural areas lack services such as broadband internet, local hospitals, and even clean water. Unfortunately, legal services are not exempt from this list. When people do not have equal access to the legal system they go without justice.
Every case we take on, we know that justice for someone is at stake. We do not take this responsibility lightly. We fight for our clients so they can get the justice they deserve.
We are conveniently located in Petersburg, West Virginia. We serve Grant County and the surrounding counties.

Mr. Bennett graduated with his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law.
While at West Virginia University College of Law, he was one of the inaugural recipients of the Rural Practice Scholarship which is meant to increase the number of lawyers practicing in the state's rural areas.
Mr. Bennett also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Western Colorado University.
Mr. Bennett also serves as the Vice Chair of the West Virginia State Bar LGBTQ+ Committee and further serves the community as the Municipal Judge for the Town of Bayard, WV.
Awards and Accolades
Nathan T. Bennett was awarded the 2022 Nationally Ranked Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under 40 in the State of West Virginia by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. The National Academy of Family Law Attorneys uses a thorough selection process to determine the top family law attorneys in each state.
The attorneys who make the NAFLA Top 10 list must first be nominated by a licensed attorney or one of our in-house research staff members.
Second, the NAFLA research staff verifies the nominated individuals meet the minimum requirements of membership in the NAFLA.
The NAFLA processing committee selects a portion of the nominated attorneys to advance to the final selection stage.
